After choosing dentistry as a career, Dr. Bains decided to move to the U.S. to pursue her personal and professional dreams. After years of hard work and perseverance, she graduated with honors and received her Dental Degree from Boston University.
Nowadays, Dr. Bains is bringing her unique approach to patients at Element Dental. As an advocate for learning, she attends continuing education courses and hands-on clinical training.
She loves helping her patients achieve their goals and providing them with high-quality dental care.

Originally from India, Dr. Bains first became interested in dentistry at a young age. Her brother started losing his teeth and had a loose tooth that was causing him pain. Dr. Bains knew she had found her calling when she removed the tooth for him – she wasn’t afraid of playing Tooth Fairy!

Hailing from the East (Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia) and landing in the West (Los Angeles, New York, and Boston), Dr. Kristy Winata has earned a global perspective that’s hard (impossible?) to come by otherwise. With it, she’s able to understand many different viewpoints and connect with patients from all walks of life.
Dr. Winata started out as a business major but quickly realized that she values relationships and the artistic side of healthcare much more. And, with dentistry being equal-part art and science, she was able to put both her interpersonal and fine motor skills to excellent use.
What Dr. Winata loves most about her job is being able to provide instant improvement to the patient’s quality of life. Especially when that means saving them from discomfort and pain. But she also very much enjoys dentistry’s more artistic side, designing beautiful and functional smiles.

Rebecca was born and raised in Massachusetts.
Growing up, Rebecca had quite a few dental problems, and was always curious about the industry as well as the formation of the tooth in a human mouth. She sympathizes with all our patients coming into the office and how they feel; whether if its anxious or calm. She loves helping the patients that come into our office, making sure that they are cared for.
Outside the Office:
Rebecca loves doing arts and crafts, hiking, and spending time with her family. Her bucket list includes traveling, riding in a hot air balloon, and skydiving!
Schedule and Insurance Coordinator
Karima was born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, before moving to the U.S.
She currently lives in Malden, MA, with her husband and their beautiful son. As a proud family of three, they enjoy cooking, traveling, and going on long walks together.
Karima initially chose dentistry because she’d always wanted to pursue a career that allowed her to help others. Even from a young age, she remembers being deeply impressed by how much her entire family respected all health workers. She just knew she wanted to be a part of that.
What she enjoys the most about her job is the daily opportunity to put a smile on people’s faces. Thanks to her dynamic and responsible personality, she goes above and beyond to offer her patients a superior dental experience in an anxiety-free atmosphere.
Outside the Office:
Karima enjoys playing sports, listening to music, and spending as much time as possible with her family. She is extremely grateful for everything she has in her life, and like her favorite quote says, “a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.”
Dental Assistant
Chedeline was born and raised in Haiti as the oldest of five children. She has lived in the U.S. for over 10 years. We are proud to say that in 2017, she graduated as a Dental Assistant from Lincoln Tech in Boston, MA.
She was drawn to dentistry because of her love for her family and her community. Chedeline made it her goal to become a helping hand in the dental education of everyone in her village in Haiti. She wanted to help them understand how having good oral hygiene could change their lives.
For her, the best part of dentistry is making people smile! Helping people feel better and at ease through superior care is something she enjoys and the reason she goes to work every day. She loves being part of a dental team that always strives to make a difference in the community.
Outside the Office:
Chedeline is a big foodie and loves cooking for herself and her entire family. She enjoys spending time with them, and someday she hopes they can all go skydiving together!
Dental Hygienist
Jennifer chose dentistry because of her childhood dental hygienist, who showed her the positive impact this career could have on individuals. Being a dental hygienist allows her to support and provide for her community, which is a priority in her life as a Massachusetts native now living in the Northshore area.
What Jennifer loves most about her job is getting to know her patients for who they are. She enjoys making all dental visits an enjoyable experience for everyone! She cares for every patient and team member and strives to show the best version of herself at all times.
Outside the Office:
Jennifer loves exploring and looking for new shows to binge on and new restaurants and places to visit!
Her parents have always been her heroes. It’s thanks to their hard work and sacrifices that allowed her to be where she is today. Jennifer also has a cat named Kitty that she loves very much.
Great experience with Dr. Bains! I'm usually very anxious about the dentist due to unfortunate past experiences, but she made me feel extremely relaxed. Her entire team is very welcoming. It feels good to have a dentist who I know I can trust and I won't automatically avoid when it's time for my six-month cleaning!
